I have a few pictures from the Memorial Day program in 1955. I was one of the MPs that raised the flag next to Patton’s grave. I was station with the Military Police Highway Patrol unit in Verdun, France. If interested, I can provided copies.

Hello Nico, I’m an American woman, visited the cemetery yesterday (May 9). I cannot tell you how much your story about Ewald touched me. I can picture you as a little boy, watching their bucket shower, eating their chocolate. Very well told.

And, I’m from Maryland so interested, heartbroken to read about Nancy Leo.

My husband and I will return in 2015 to this beautiful place. THANK YOU for loving the United States and these soldiers so much.

  3. Good day! Would you mind if I share your blog with my facebook group?

There’s a lot of folks that I think would really appreciate your content.
    Please let me know. Thanks
